Category C1 HGV Training
To obtain an LGV C1 licence, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a full car licence.
The next stage is to obtain a provisional LGV licence. To do this, a medical will need to be undertaken and the completed D2/D4 forms sent to the DVLA.
Your theory tests can also be booked. Everyone will need a Multi Choice theory test and a Hazard Perception test. You may also need a CPC Case study. This can be booked through us or the government website.
Category C1 enables you to drive vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tonne. Category C1 (7.5T) is conducted over 3 days, with your 3A reverse test on 2nd-day and 3B practical on road driving test on the last day.. This allows for 4 hours of one-to-one training with the candidate each day.
